Munchies with the Mayor
Residents First...
During my time as Mayor, I’ve focused on ways to strengthen the connection between our residents, local businesses, and town leadership. I will look to expanded opportunities for public input, supported neighborhood-based initiatives, increased transparency in town projects, and worked to make Town Hall more accessible and responsive. From revitalizing community events to improving communication channels, my priority has been ensuring every resident feels informed, valued, and included in shaping Lake Park’s future. As I seek reelection, I remain committed to building an even more engaged, connected, and vibrant Lake Park for all.

Business Community (CRA)
Businesses within the Lake Park CRA face several sustainability challenges that affect growth and reinvestment. Many commercial properties in the CRA are aging and are in need of upgrades to improve energy efficiency, safety, and appearance. Limited parking, and rising costs place added pressure on small businesses trying to remain competitive. Some storefronts also lack modern green features—such as improved lighting, shade structures, and landscaping—that would make the district more walkable and welcoming. Additionally, business owners often need more support and resources to adopt sustainable practices that reduce costs and strengthen long-term economic resilience. Addressing these challenges is essential to revitalizing the CRA, attracting new investment, and creating a vibrant, sustainable commercial district for residents and visitors.

Smart Development
As Mayor, I believe growth should strengthen our community—not overwhelm it. Smart development means attracting the right projects that enhance our small-town character, protect neighborhoods, improve walkability, and bring quality jobs and local business opportunities. It’s about thoughtful planning, responsible infrastructure investment, and ensuring every project benefits the residents who call Lake Park home. By choosing smart, balanced development, we can grow our tax base, reduce burdens on families, and keep Lake Park a vibrant, welcoming town for generations to come.
